Stacy L. Stanley grew up in Loris, South Carolina, where his family has lived for generations. He graduated in 1990 from Furman University with a degree in History. After graduation, Stacy taught English in Aizu Wakamatsu, Japan for sixteen months, and then worked for several years in the customer service department at AVX Corporation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
In 1994, Stacy entered the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 1997 after serving one year as Student Bar President. After law school, Stacy served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James E. Brogdon, Jr., a state trial court judge, and then joined The Thompson Law Firm in 1998.
Stacy opened the Stanley Law Firm in August 2000 and practices in the areas of civil litigation, collection law, construction law, commercial and residential real estate, personal injury and worker's compensation. He is married to the former Melanie Ward, of Marion, South Carolina, and they have three children, Will, Matthew and Daniel. |
